Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Specialist in en_US This role involves providing specialized surgical support for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures within a healthcare facility. The position requires experienced clinicians to manage complex cases, including open-heart surgeries, robotic procedures, and vascular interventions, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

Job Details:

• Position Description: The role supports cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery teams performing open-heart, robotic, and minimally invasive procedures such as CABG, valve repair, ECMO, lung resection, esophagostomy, IVC repair, and dialysis access management.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (AHA); minimum of 2 years of experience in Operating Room (OR) Open Heart; valid licensure to submit; ability to cover sterile processing; location requirements as applicable.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Clinicians will onboard at Ruby for at least a week or two before moving to Berkeley Medical Center. The role requires mandatory call with a response time of 30 minutes; one night of call per week and one weekend of call per month. Floating within other services of Berkeley OR may be required. The contract duration is flexible, ranging from 13 weeks or longer, with open options for direct hire or permanent placement.
• Submission Requirements: No BSN required; no license to submit required.
