Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) professional position located in the healthcare setting. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex cases, including cardiac surgery, thoracic surgeries, and vascular interventions, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association); 2 years of experience in operating room, open heart surgery; no specific education or license requirements specified
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery; travel experience preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required within other services of the facility's operating room
• Additional Information:
  • Unit notes include a variety of complex surgical cases including CABG, valve surgeries, ECMO, transplant, thoracic procedures, vascular surgeries, and more
  • Orientation period of 1 week at a designated location before transfer to the main facility
  • Start date is 01/04/2027, with the end date of 04/05/2027
  • Open to contracts of 13 weeks or longer, with flexibility for direct hire or permanent placement
  • Mandatory call is required, with one night of call per week and one weekend of call per month; response time within 30 minutes
  • No BSN required; no license to submit needed
  • Trauma level and care setting classified as acute
