Job Details:
Location: Wenatchee, Washington
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
Must possess a Washington State or Compact RN licensure
Experience in Cardiac Operating Room (OR OH) and general Operating Room (OR) experience, including Cardiac experience
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Ability to float as a sitter and float in rotation
Willingness to be on call as needed
Must adhere to hospital policies, unit standards, and legal nursing requirements under the Washington Nurse Practice Act
Job Functions:
Coordinates and delivers patient care in a compassionate manner, utilizing the nursing process and unit standards
Develops, implements, and reevaluates individualized patient care plans
Administers medications, performs procedures and treatments, and evaluates discharge plans
Accurately documents assessments, interventions, and responses
Collects patient information to ensure safe and effective care
Performs ongoing patient assessments and responds appropriately
Conducts health education for patients and families in a timely manner
Maintains current knowledge of workflow, evidence-based practices, and procedures
Delegates tasks appropriately and oversees care by auxiliary staff
Participates in performance improvement activities and collaborates with the healthcare team
Maintains a clean, safe environment following hospital policies
