Job Summary Operating Room with Open Heart (OR OH) Specialty in Porter, IN. This position entails providing specialized perioperative care for patients undergoing open heart surgeries. The role involves supporting cardiac surgical procedures within a 12-bed unit, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical standards.
Job Details
Position Type: Registered Nurse (RN) in licensure required.
Experience Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of open heart experience.
Certifications: ACLS and BLS are required.
Location Requirements: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Skills: Must have open heart experience and be familiar with Cerner EMR systems.
Responsibilities include supporting open heart procedures, maintaining patient safety, and adhering to clinical protocols.
Scrub color: Surgical blue.
Submission Requirements: Must attach required license and certifications, include drivers license, and provide current home address matching ID.
Additional Information: Position is for a 13-week contract with start date of 10/26/2026 and end date of 01/25/2027. Open orientation dates are scheduled for 10/19/26 or every other Monday, excluding holidays.
