Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) role located in Weston, Wisconsin. This position involves providing specialized cardiac surgical care in a busy cardiovascular operating room environment. The role requires circulating outside of the cardiovascular operating room, specifically for procedures such as CABG, valves, TAVR, VATS/thoracotomy, robotic lungs, and aneurysm repairs. The scheduled shifts are rotating, with a typical schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including call responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional coverage until 5:30 PM. There is a late start Wednesday once a month, to be discussed during the interview.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association); Education: No specific degree required; Experience: Minimum of 1 year of operating room experience; Location: Candidates must reside within 80 miles of Weston, Wisconsin; Years of Experience: 1 year minimum.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience circulating outside of cardiovascular operating room, specifically for C-sections; scrub experience is required, RN scrubbing is not required.
- Call Responsibilities: 10-15 days per month, including weekends and holidays, rotated within a team of three staff members with a response time of 30 minutes.
- Float Requirements: Limited to within the main operating room or outpatient surgery center only.
- Dress Code: Scrubs provided.
- Orientation: Up to 1 week of unit-specific training.
- Additional Notes: Must note in submission if previously employed by Marshfield; if yes, must have an end date at least six months prior to submission. All clinicians are required to clock in and out at the facility.
