Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart specialty position in Iowa City, Iowa. This role involves supporting Cardiothoracic, Peripheral Vascular, and Transplant (Heart and Lung) surgeries within a Level 1 or 2 trauma environment. The position requires scrub skills specifically in heart procedures and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. The assignment begins on August 10, 2026.

Job Details:

Schedule: Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a team rotation for on-call duties once a week and one Saturday or Sunday 24-hour call in a 4-week rotation.
Required Qualifications: Certificates and education as specified; minimum 2 years of strong Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse (RN) experience, with active scrub skills including heart procedures; must include or RN scrub skills checklist in the sub packet; experience in large Level 1 or 2 trauma environment; proficiency in scrubbing hearts.

Float: Float rotation may be required.
