Shift: Days – 4×10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care CVOR experience
• Previous travel experience required (First-time travelers not accepted)
• Florida RN License or Compact License required at submission
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Must provide 2 recent professional references (Manager, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) from within the last year
• Interview availability (EST) required at submission
• SSN and DOB required at submission

Required Clinical Experience

Candidates should have experience with:

• Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
• Mitral Valve Replacement
• Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
• Femoral-Popliteal Bypass Graft
• Percutaneous Coronary Angioplasty
• Pacemaker Placement
• Heart Valve Replacement
• Peripheral Vascular Bypass
• Creation, Revision, and Removal of AV Fistula
• Lobectomy
• Insertion, Replacement, and Removal of Ventricular Shunts

Unit Information

• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Operating Rooms: 6
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Charting System: Epic
• Floating: Required
• On-Call: Required
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (or approximately 6 weekend shifts per 13-week contract, based on unit needs)
• Orientation: 12 clinical hours plus 16 non-billable orientation hours
