Type of Equipment: Impella, ECMO, Bypass pump, Laser(lead extraction) EVH, Rapid Transfuser
Documentation System: Meditech
Call Requirements: On-call is split and dependent on staffing
Typical Hiring Profile
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
ACLS, BLS, 2 years current experience in acute OR setting.
Must be able to Scrub and be proficient in all service lines. Rotating weekends are a possibility.
List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):
Joint replacement, ENT, Ortho, Spine, Urology
Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic Surgery and Plastic Surgery
Additional Preferences:
Can also scrub(RN)
BLS
ACLS
Can function in all surgical specialties other than CVOR (robotics, ortho, spine, GYN)
RN is responsible for the observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation of care of all patients
proficient charting, multi-tasking, critical thinker, excellent bedside manner
