Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 20, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (06:00 - 16:30), 36 hours per week. Overtime available after 48 total hours in one week. Two pre-approved time off periods available.

Highlights:

• Circulating RN role in a 2-room Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
• Work with adult patient population in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Comprehensive orientation provided (36 hours)
• Epic charting system utilized
• First-time travelers welcomed with appropriate experience

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR circulating experience required
• Active RN license (state or compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CNOR
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Proficiency in CVOR procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, IABP, VAD, thoracotomy, VATS, and other cardiovascular surgical interventions
• Skills in blood product administration, specimen handling, IV placement, and urinary catheterization
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
