• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Requirements

• 2 years of CVOR nursing experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Active state or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Experience with cardiovascular surgery and thoracic surgical procedures preferred
• First-time travelers may be considered

Responsibilities

• Serve as a circulating Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Support complex cardiac surgery and thoracic surgery procedures, including CABG, TAVR, valve replacement, thoracotomy, VATS, and ventricular assist device cases
• Maintain sterile technique and follow universal protocol throughout the perioperative workflow
• Assist with blood and blood product administration, specimen handling, and perioperative documentation
• Prepare and support equipment and surgical supplies needed for advanced cardiovascular procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to promote safe, efficient patient care
