Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome with the required clinical experience
• ACLS and BLS required
• CNOR preferred
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular operating room workflows, sterile technique, and perioperative nursing care
• Epic experience preferred
• Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced surgical environment

Responsibilities

• Serve as a circulating RN in the CVOR
• Support a wide range of cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and sterile operating room environment
• Assist with specimen handling, time-outs, and universal protocol compliance
• Prepare for and support complex cases, including CABG, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, thoracotomy, and aneurysm repair
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR team members to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Deliver high-quality patient care with attention to detail, safety, and teamwork
