Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care within a dedicated pediatric cardiovascular operating room environment
• Assist with open heart surgery on pediatric patients with congenital heart conditions
• Support bedside sternal closures and washout procedures in the ICU setting
• Participate in a rotating, self-scheduling on-call program as required by the unit
• Collaborate closely with pediatric cath lab, echo, and pre/post anesthesia unit teams

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
• Operating room experience with cardiac experience required; pediatric CVOR experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EMR
• Willingness and availability to participate in rotating on-call schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Direct experience in a pediatric CVOR setting
• CVOR scrub skills are a plus but not mandatory
