Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in CVOR, cardiovascular surgery, or perioperative nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications in hand
• Experience circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring procedural or surgical cases
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Ability to complete required assessments during orientation
• Compliance with all pre-start screening and onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing support in the Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Circulate, scrub, and monitor cardiac procedural cases with accuracy and attention to detail
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment
• Respond appropriately to changing patient needs and procedural demands
• Participate in call coverage as assigned
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care throughout the perioperative and surgical experience
