We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team at a leading acute-care hospital in Charleston, SC. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be involved in complex surgical cases. If you are a dedicated RN with a passion for cardiac and vascular procedures, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate complex cases including Adult Heart and Lung Transplant, Type A Dissections, CABG, Valves, TAVRs, AAA, Diagnostic Lap, Exploratory Lap, EVARs, TEVARs, and FEVARS.
• Scrubbing Cardiac/Vascular cases is highly preferred.
• Participate in holiday coverage as needed, including one major holiday-call or in-house coverage.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in CVOR nursing.
• Current SC or Multi-state RN license must be in hand at the start of the contract.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be AHA certified).
• Radiation badge required (to be provided by the agency).
• Local radius rule: 60 miles. Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate.
• All RTO must be provided at the time of submission; approvals based on department needs.

Facility Highlights:

• Type of Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital.
• Total Staffed Beds: 820.
• Charting: EPIC.
• Parking: $20 registration fee for a hang tag allowing use of the garage.

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. Please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or extended assignment during this period.
