• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Shift Time: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,480 - $2,610
• Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room / Operating Room
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Call: No call required
• Weekend Coverage: Fixed or rotating weekends as needed
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of overall operating room experience
• At least 2 years of cardiac and vascular nursing experience
• At least 1 year of CVOR experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Scrub experience required
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS and NIHSS preferred/required per unit needs
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Ability to provide 2 professional references, including 1 from a manager, director, or other formal leader
• Must be comfortable with travel compliance and prompt credentialing timelines

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating and scrub support for complex cardiovascular operating room cases
• Assist with high-acuity procedures involving cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and transplant surgery
• Support advanced surgical cases such as CABG, valve procedures, aneurysm repairs, TEVAR, EVAR, and VAD-related surgeries
• Maintain patient safety and sterile technique throughout the surgical continuum
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiology, and the OR team to ensure smooth case flow
• Perform pre-op, intra-op, and post-op nursing duties as assigned by unit needs
• Follow universal protocol, infection control, fire safety, and specimen handling standards
• Adapt to a busy 24/7 surgical environment with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
