Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - CVOR to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care in the CVOR setting.
• Prepare operating room for surgery with required tools and materials.
• Assist in surgical operations under the guidelines established by the department.
• Maintain flexibility with schedule to ensure optimal patient care coverage.
• Participate in the on-call rotation, including one full weekend of call every 5 weeks.
• Facilitate communication between surgical team and patient's family.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with BLS certification required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience with recent Cardiovascular/Open Heart proficiency.
• Large academic teaching hospital experience needed.
• Epic experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• Prior travel nurse experience is required.
