Mandatory Qualifications for this Job

  • Active, unrestricted Oregon RN License
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
  • Current AHA ACLS Certification
  • CVOR/Open Heart Nursing experience required

Preferred:

  • ICU experience
  • Operating Room scrubbing experience

 Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide perioperative care to cardiac surgery patients
  • Assist with CVOR and open-heart procedures
  • Prepare patients, equipment, and surgical rooms
  • Monitor patients during surgery and recovery
  • Assist with cardiac and procedural sedation cases
  • Scrub and/or circulate as qualified
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and care teams
  • Maintain accurate patient and surgical records
  • Follow sterile technique, infection control, and safety protocols
  • Provide age-appropriate patient care
  • Support safe transfers, recovery, and discharge
