Learnbeyond Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

Registered Nurse (RN) – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room / Hybrid Cath Lab)

 Location: Colorado
Shift: Full-Time
Start Date: Tentative – 18/08/2026
Pay Rate:$88/hour

Mandatory Qualifications for this Job

  • Active Colorado RN License or Compact RN License
  • Current AHA BLS & ACLS Certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience
  • Must scrub and circulate in CVOR procedures
  • Experience in CVOR or Hybrid Cath Lab
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgery, sterile technique, and perioperative care
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN Nursing Program

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Scrub and circulate during cardiovascular surgical procedures in a Hybrid Cath Lab
  • Prepare the operating room with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies
  • Assist surgeons and the surgical team during complex cardiac procedures
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery to ensure safety
  • Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards
  • Operate and troubleshoot CVOR and Hybrid Cath Lab equipment
  • Administer medications and document patient care accurately
  • Respond promptly to intraoperative emergencies and changing patient conditions
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care
  • Follow AHA guidelines, hospital policies, and regulatory standards

This CVOR RN position is based in a Hybrid Cath Lab (not General OR) and requires candidates with recent high-volume CVOR experience who can both scrub and circulate. Candidates must have an active Colorado or Compact RN License, current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications, and be prepared to provide resume, license, certifications, and skills checklist during submission.
