Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Circulate complex cardiovascular and thoracic cases including CABG, AVR, and MVR.
• Handle surgeries such as Aortic Aneurysms, Carotid Endarterectomies, and AV fistula procedures.
• Assist with advanced technologies including ECMO, Impella placement, and Ventricular Assist Devices.
• Ensure compliance with facility protocols and maintain accurate case records.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Fulfill on-call requirements every 5th weekday and weekend.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana state RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1-2 years of experience in CVOR nursing necessary.
• Proficiency in managing various complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment with a 1:1 patient ratio.
