Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Specialty in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position involves working in a high-acuity cardiovascular operating room specializing in complex open-heart and vascular procedures. The role requires confident, current professionals experienced in heart and vascular surgery to join a dynamic team, providing patient care across multiple complex surgeries in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: 1 year of experience in OR open heart procedures, NBSTSA or NCCT certification, valid OK or Compact RN license in hand, local radius of 75 miles; experience in open hearts and vascular surgery preferred
Unit Details: 3 rooms, case volume of approximately 6 patients per day, staffing includes interdisciplinary support, with scheduled orientation hours of 36
Additional Information: Call requirement of 1-2 weekends/month and 1-2 weekdays per week; brief orientation provided on unit; modules completed onsite during orientation; travelers expected to float to like units as needed; experience in high-acuity cardiovascular procedures preferred; excellent teamwork and clinical skill required
