Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart specialty in Spokane, Washington. The position involves working in a highly specialized Cardiothoracic and Vascular operating room environment. The role requires the ability to scrub all open heart cases and is suitable for experienced cardiovascular operating room professionals.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Shift time is days, with 10 hours per shift, and a minimum of 40 hours per week expected.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington (WA) or Compact Registered Nurse license, at least 2 years of experience in the operating room with open heart procedural experience, certifications including BLS, NBSTSA, and ASATT, and recent experience in cardiac surgery.
- Preferred Qualifications: Robotic surgical experience, familiarity with Epic charting system, and previous experience working in a cardiac surgical environment.
- Special Requirements: Must be able to scrub all open heart cases; robotic experience preferred.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be able to float between units if required, and all compliance documentation must be completed prior to start. References covering one year of recent clinical experience are required. This role involves working in a facility with 629 beds, a trauma level II designation, and specialized cardiac procedures including TAVRs and heart transplants.
