Job Details
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Minimum of three years of experience as a scrub person in a hospital setting; licensure through an approved program for Operating Room Technicians or demonstrated technical skills via on-the-job training; Scrub Tech Certification preferred; BLS certification for healthcare providers required; strong proficiency in heart, orthopedic, neuro, and robotic surgeries when working on general cases; minimum high school education preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Approved program for Operating Room Technicians or demonstrable technical skills through experience; certification in Scrub Tech is preferred.
Additional Information: This role involves on-call duties, including 12 hours on weekends and 20 hours on weekdays within a 4-week period, with a 30-minute response time. The professional must be proficient in various surgical specialties, including heart, orthopedic, neuro, and robotic surgeries. Responsibilities include counting, documentation, updating surgeon preference cards, and participating in process improvements.
