Job Highlights

- Patient ratios: 1:1–1:2
- Guaranteed hours
- Rotating day/night shifts based on unit needs
- 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- No RTO during the first 2 weeks of orientation
- Travelers may float to lower-acuity units within scope
- Epic EMR
- Pediatric Teaching Hospital
- Magnet designated
- Level I Trauma Center
Required License / Certifications
- WA RN license, WA temporary license, or Compact RN license by start date
- BLS
- PALS
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery/CVPICU experience
- Strong candidates with 1–2 years will be considered
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Children's hospital experience preferred
Preferred Candidate
- 2–5 years of Cardiac ICU experience
- Previous travel experience
- Strong pediatric cardiac critical care background
Patient Population
- Birth through 21 years
- Congenital heart disease
- Heart failure
- Heart transplant
- Single ventricle palliation
- High-acuity cardiac ICU patients

- Central line care
- Blood product administration
- Dysrhythmia recognition and management
- ABG interpretation
- IV vasopressors
- Continuous sedation
- BiPAP/CPAP
- Tracheostomy care
- Pediatric medication dosing
- Wound assessment and care

- ECMO
