Cytotechnologist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8 Hours, 8:00–17:30, hours may vary) | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities- Perform analytical laboratory procedures requiring a professional level of knowledge to execute, interpret, and analyze results, including abnormal or atypical findings
- Provide cytotechnology services across a patient population spanning neonates to geriatrics
- Utilize Epic system for documentation and case management
- Adhere to scheduled shift requirements, including every other weekend rotation
- Work assigned major holidays as required based on contract length and holiday schedule
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 1 year of cytotechnology experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Active certification as a Cytotechnologist through the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or the International Association of Cytotechnologists (IAC)
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting cytology analytical procedures
- Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working within the Epic electronic health record system
- Prior experience in a high-volume or multi-population laboratory setting
