Travel Cytotechnologist

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Examine and interpret cytological specimens to detect abnormal or malignant cells
- Prepare and screen slides from various specimen types including gynecological and non-gynecological samples
- Document and report findings accurately in accordance with laboratory protocols
- Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to ensure quality and timely results
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cytotechnologist
- ASCP certification (CT) or equivalent required
- Proficiency in screening and interpreting cytological preparations
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel assignment experience in a laboratory or cytology setting
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS)
