Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Day Surgery Unit position requiring an active MA license and ambulatory OR or PACU experience with an orthopedics/sports medicine focus.

Details

  • Located at an outpatient healthcare center's Day Surgery Unit
  • Ambulatory surgery setting supporting orthopedic and sports medicine outpatient procedures
  • 4x10 schedule with shifts from 07:00-17:30
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Uses Epic for EMR charting

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required with no pending or conditional licenses accepted
  • BLS certification required, AHA preferred
  • Primary source verification of license required within 30 days of start and upon expiration, including NURSYS and BON verification
  • Ambulatory surgery experience required for either OR or PACU role
  • OR candidates must have orthopedics and sports medicine/outpatient experience
  • Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

  • Provide perioperative nursing care in an outpatient surgical setting focused on orthopedic and sports medicine procedures
  • Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are accepted at a reduced rate
  • Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
  • RTO must be disclosed prior to consideration
