Must-Have: GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation experience.
Description:
Work together with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of the patient.
Provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.
Handle a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations.
These duties range in complexity and skill, and all aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service skills and a strong commitment to working well with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other dental office team members.
GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation may be required.
Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved and regulated by the state in which they work.
Apply fluoride and protective sealants.
Remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
Record and review patient medical histories.
Uphold office policy including HIPAA & OSHA.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Order and keep track of inventory as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
This job operates in a medical/clinical environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, x-rays, and phones.
This job operates in a well-lighted, sterile environment.
Employees must wear gloves, masks, protective eyewear, and clothing to protect themselves and their patients from infectious disease.
The employee frequently is required to talk and hear.
Stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
Walk.
Use hands to handle or feel.
Reach with hands and arms.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to blood and blood-borne pathogens and/or physical risks, which will require OSHA training.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
