Description
United Staffing Solutions is seeking a LPN / LVN Behavioral Health for a travel job in Bronx, New York.
Job Description & Requirements

Detox LPN
Shift: 12-hour shifts
Hours: 34.5/week
Unit: 20-bed adult detox unit
Trauma Level: Level II
EHR: Allscripts
Requirements: 2+ years experience, AHA BLS, ACLS, and approved de-escalation training
Preferred: PALS and psych experience
Experience: Med Surg background preferred; must be able to assess detox symptoms
Skills: Phlebotomy, EKGs, blood glucose checks, vitals, safety checks, 15-minute rounding, ADLs, and patient observation
Patient Population: Adults with substance use disorder, detox needs, medical comorbidities, and psychiatric comorbidities
Ratios: 1:10 with 2 nurses and 2 techs per shift
Weekends: Every other weekend
Float: May float to rehab, clinic, psych, adolescent/adult psych, LRC, CPEP, or detox as needed
