Job Summary Dialysis Nurse, Dialysis Unit, available in a healthcare facility. This position involves performing hemodialysis treatments in the dialysis unit, serving adult and pediatric patients with end-stage renal disease or acute kidney injuries. The role requires delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Job Details
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS (AHA); minimum 1 year of dialysis experience including peritoneal dialysis and plasmapheresis; valid license to submit; no specific location required; experience requirement: 0 years
Schedule: Monday through Saturday, dayshift with a combination of 8 and 12-hour shifts to meet a total of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Must have dialysis experience, must have peritoneal dialysis experience and plasmapheresis.
Additional Information: Perform Hemodialysis treatments in the dialysis unit; team-based care with 6-7 nurses daily and on-call coverage for winter holidays. The role includes orientation with three shifts and compliance with dress code in royal blue and white scrubs. The EMR system is Epic.
Responsibilities include providing patient care, using appropriate clinical protocols, and adhering to safety standards. Candidates must be flexible to float as first float.
