Travel Dialysis Tech - $1,032 per week in Mauston, WI

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Dialysis Technician for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients.

Requirements

• BLS certified.
• Employed as a Dialysis Technician for eighteen months minimum.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Duties Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Dialysis Technician is to provides dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.

• Setup, perform safety checks and operate dialysis equipment. Troubleshoot and report equipment problems/issues to the appropriate supervisor and other staff members.
• Monitor patient response to dialysis and report any unusual findings or issues to the nurse supervisor.
• Assist with patients prior to dialysis including: vital signs, weight, general condition and any special patient problems or issues.
• Provide basic care for and knowledge of use of the dialysis access.
• Communicate effectively with other care providers (physicians, nurses, unit staff, business office, and medical records) to provide for continuity of patient care and to meet the needs of the customers we serve.
