We’re seeking an experienced Dialysis Technician to support hemodialysis treatments in Oak Harbor, WA. • Position: Dialysis Technician
• Location: Oak Harbor
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: 3x12
• Experience Required: 2 Years
• Pay Rate:$30 to $34 per hour

• Prepare dialysis machines and treatment stations before each patient session
• Perform pre-treatment equipment safety checks and water quality monitoring
• Obtain patient vital signs, weight, and treatment-related assessments before and after dialysis
• Initiate, monitor, and discontinue hemodialysis treatments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Monitor patients during dialysis and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing staff
• Assist with vascular access care and observe access sites for complications
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and equipment performance
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain dialysis equipment according to infection control and manufacturer guidelines
• Educate patients on dialysis procedures, treatment compliance, and basic kidney health
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and dialysis care standards
• Collaborate with nephrologists, nurses, dietitians, and the interdisciplinary care team to provide exceptional patient care

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) or equivalent certification preferred or required by facility
• Minimum 2 years of recent dialysis technician experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• Experience operating hemodialysis equipment and monitoring patients during treatment
• Strong knowledge of dialysis procedures, infection prevention, and patient safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately during patient emergencies
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
