Job Title: Dietitian Profession: Dietitian Specialty: Dietitian Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active registration status with the American Dietetic Association Certifications: Registered Dietitian (RD) from the Commission on Dietetic Registration Must-Have: Licensed or in the process of becoming licensed in the state of Maryland Description: No calls, weekends, or holidays required. Shifts are usually 8-hour days from Monday to Friday, but can be adjusted to (4) 10-hour days if needed. Start time for the day is flexible. Manages the nutrition care of clinic patients as well as other patients who rely on artificial nutrition support (enteral and parenteral nutrition). Provides nutrition expertise to physicians and other health professionals. Participates in activities that encompass interdisciplinary care including interdisciplinary rounds and performance improvement. Provides nutrition education in the area of nutrition support for medical and support staff, patients, and families. Supports the overall mission of the organization.
