Job Title: Dietitian Profession: Dietician Specialty: Dietician Duration: 12 months Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 4 hours per day, 20 hours per week Experience: Minimum years of experience required. License: Masters Degree required. Certifications: Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) in MA. Must-Have: - Ability to appropriately identify patients at nutrition risk. - Skill in assessing diet orders based on the patient's age and current condition. - Capacity to accurately assess physical limitations that may compromise nutritional status. - Proficiency in calculating metabolic needs, including energy, protein, fluid, and other specific nutrients. - Ability to recommend appropriate nutrition interventions based on subjective and objective data. - Competence in accurately documenting the initial and ongoing assessment of a patient's nutritional status and progress through chart reviews. - Skill in overseeing the completion of diet slips three times a week for all patients with special dietary needs. Description: The Dietitian collaborates with dietary services to act as a resource to dietary staff. This ensures the delivery of a nutrition care program in accordance with established standards.
