Must-Have:
- Appropriately identifies patients at nutrition risk
- Assesses diet orders based on the patient's age and current condition
- Accurately assesses physical limitations that may compromise nutritional status
- Accurately calculates metabolic needs, including energy, protein, fluid, and other specific nutrients
- Recommends appropriate nutrition intervention based on subjective and objective data
- Accurately documents the initial and ongoing assessment of the patient's nutritional status and progress through chart review
- Oversees the completion of diet slips three times a week for all patients with special dietary needs
