Job Title – Pediatric Dietitian
Location – Albuquerque, New Mexico
Duration – 13 Weeks (07/06/2026 onward)
Shift – Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM)
Rotation – Block schedule; weekends every 3rd (0–3 shifts per contract)
Float – Yes, within pediatric units as needed
Call Requirement – Yes (including weekends and holidays)
Job Description
Pediatric Dietitian responsible for providing comprehensive nutritional care for pediatric, infant, and adolescent patients in a high-acuity hospital setting. The role includes nutritional assessments, calorie counts, enteral and parenteral nutrition management, and ongoing monitoring to ensure optimal growth and clinical outcomes.
Mandatory Skills / Experience
Minimum 1 year pediatric inpatient dietitian experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Strong experience in enteral nutrition (tube feeding) required
Strong experience in total parenteral nutrition (TPN) required
Ability to perform nutrition assessments and recalculations independently
Experience with Cerner charting preferred
Strong understanding of pediatric nutrition standards and interdisciplinary care
Clinical Skills Required – Nutritional assessments and reassessments, calorie counts, enteral nutrition calculations and management, TPN macro/micro nutrient calculations, feeding advancements and stabilizations, pediatric enteral feeding protocols, and clinical nutrition planning for infants, children, and adolescents.
