    Dietitian – Dietary Services

    Albuquerque, NM

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 8:00–16:30) | Monday–Friday | Onsite | Minimum 10-week assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to adult patients across acute care and progressive care floors within a high-acuity, non-ICU setting at a Level I Trauma Center
    • Manage nutrition support including enteral nutrition (EN) and parenteral nutrition (PN), with responsibility for both macronutrient and micronutrient management in custom formulas
    • Deliver diet education to patients across a variety of disease states
    • Participate in plan-of-care rounds as an active member of the interdisciplinary care team
    • Manage a daily caseload of approximately 6–10 patients per day
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU and nutrition support, including custom parenteral nutrition (PN) with management of macros and micros
    • Active or pending state licensure as a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) accepted at time of submission
    • Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system preferred
    • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (non-local travelers only); non-local driver's license required on file
    • Must be available to complete compliance documentation within 1–2 weeks of contract signing and drug screening within 30 days of start
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel dietitian experience in an acute care or trauma center environment
    • Experience working within a teaching hospital or children's hospital setting
    • Familiarity with interdisciplinary rounding in high-acuity clinical environments
