Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 8:00–16:30) | Monday–Friday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to adult patients across acute care and progressive care floors within a Level I Trauma Center
Manage nutrition support including enteral nutrition (EN) and parenteral nutrition (PN), with expertise in custom formula development managing both macros and micronutrients
Deliver diet education to patients across a variety of disease states
Participate in interdisciplinary plan-of-care rounds
Manage a daily caseload of approximately 6–10 patients per day in a high-acuity, non-ICU setting
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU and nutrition support, including custom parenteral nutrition (PN) with management of macros and micronutrients
Registered Dietitian credential required
Active or pending state licensure accepted at time of submission
Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system preferred
RQI certifications are not accepted for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in a Level I Trauma, teaching, or large acute care hospital environment
Familiarity with progressive care and high-acuity patient populations outside of the ICU
Experience providing nutrition support in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team setting
