Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients identified with special needs or those meeting nutritional risk criteria
• Conduct patient nutritional assessments and reassessments in accordance with policy and acceptable practice standards
• Develop and implement individualized nutritional plans of care
• Deliver patient and family education related to nutritional needs and interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to communicate nutritional findings and recommendations
• Document all nutritional interventions accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition or equivalent field
• Master's Degree required if eligibility for examination began on or after January 1, 2024
• Completion of a dietetic internship or its equivalent
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required within 6 months of completion of residency program
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
• Ability to float throughout the regional network as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience as a Clinical Dietitian in an acute care or healthcare setting
• Experience working within a multi-site or network healthcare environment
