Travel Registered Dietitian – Dietary

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | No Weekends
Key Responsibilities- Conduct nutrition assessments and nutrition-focused physical exams (NFPEs) for an acute care patient population of approximately 10–15 patients per Registered Dietitian
- Manage and order tube feeding (TF) and total parenteral nutrition (TPN) as appropriate
- Provide patient and family nutrition education
- Deliver in-services and education to dietary staff
- Float to various units as needed, including CVICU, MICU, IMU, Med-Surg, Post-Surgical, and Bariatric
- Document assessments and interventions accurately within the Expanse EMR system
Required Qualifications- Active CDR Registered Dietitian (RD) credential
- Active Texas Registered Dietitian license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an acute care hospital setting
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with nutrition support, including enteral and parenteral nutrition
- Familiarity with Expanse EMR
