Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | Onsite | Remote on-call rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional assessments and consults for 8–10 patients per day across adult general medicine/hospitalist and/or general pediatric units
• Manage patients with diagnoses including obesity, prediabetes, cancer, celiac disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, malnutrition, eating disorders, and conditions causing unintentional weight loss
• Document patient care and interventions using the EPIC electronic medical records system
• Participate in a remote on-call rotation approximately every 6–8 weeks for adult coverage and every 4–5 weeks for pediatric coverage
• Provide secondary coverage for other staff as needed on assigned float days
• Complete both department-level and unit-specific orientation upon hire

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
• Active West Virginia State Dietitian Licensure
• Minimum of one year of inpatient clinical experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior pediatric inpatient clinical experience for candidates being considered for pediatric coverage openings
• Experience managing complex nutritional needs across a diverse patient population including oncology and eating disorder diagnoses
