Key Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments, reassessments, and nutrition-focused physical exams for an adult and geriatric inpatient population
• Manage enteral nutrition and therapeutic diet orders within an inpatient setting
• Provide nutrition therapy complication management as needed
• Maintain an expected productivity of 10–12 patient interventions per day, supporting a unit with an average daily census of approximately 185 patients
• Document all clinical activity accurately using Cerner

Required Qualifications

• RD or RDN credential is required
• Active Maryland Dietitian licensure is required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Dietitian experience required
• Acute Care nutrition experience is required
• Community hospital experience is required
• Proficiency with Cerner is required
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations in an inpatient environment
• Familiarity with inpatient dietitian team workflows, including collaboration with clinical staff on complex nutrition cases
• Experience managing a high-volume caseload in a community hospital setting
