Travel Dietitian/Registered Dietitian in San Antonio, TX

Registered Dietitian – Kidney Clinic (Contract / Travel)

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct dietitian evaluations assessing patient nutritional status, including frailty testing and weight/lifestyle recommendations for transplant recipients (pre- and post-transplant) and donors
• Participate in the Patient Selection Committee (PSC) approximately 4 days per week for roughly 1 hour per session
• Manage a caseload of approximately 15–20 outpatient clinic patients per day
• Utilize EMR systems (Teleresults/Meditech) to document assessments and patient interactions
• Operate clinical tools including a dynamometer and handheld stopwatch (equipment provided)
• Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal guidance

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload with limited supervision
• Comfortable working in an outpatient, interdisciplinary clinical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in transplant nutrition or renal dietetics strongly preferred
• Familiarity with patient selection committee processes or multidisciplinary care team participation
• Prior experience with Teleresults or Meditech EMR systems
