Director of Nursing (DON) – Travel Contract | Sistersville, WV
Location: Sistersville, WV
Contract Length: 10 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-min meal break)
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
Compensation:
Total Pay Rate: $70/hour
Weekly Gross Pay (All-Inclusive): $2,800/week
W2 Pay (Taxable): $38.85/hour
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,246 ($31.15/hour)
Overtime Rate: $80/hour (after 40 hours/week)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) for a 10-week travel contract at our Sistersville, WV facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nursing leader looking for competitive pay, guaranteed hours, and a supportive care environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident/patient care
Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff
Ensure compliance with facility, state, and federal healthcare regulations
Manage staffing schedules, care plans, and documentation standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain excellent care outcomes
Requirements:
Active RN license (WV or compact license accepted)
Prior DON or nursing leadership experience preferred
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to commit to the full 10-week contract
