Key Responsibilities
- Develop and calculate radiation treatment plans in collaboration with the radiation oncology team
- Operate treatment planning systems to design accurate and effective dose distributions
- Ensure treatment plans meet prescribed dose requirements and quality standards
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and medical physicists to optimize patient treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans and related records
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) or equivalent credential
- Experience with radiation treatment planning systems
- Knowledge of radiation oncology principles, techniques, and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently in a clinical setting with minimal onboarding time
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a contract or travel dosimetrist role
- Familiarity with a variety of treatment planning software platforms
- Strong communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary oncology environment
