Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Multi-Modality Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied Mix of 10/12hr shifts Hours per Shift: 10-12 hours Experience: 2+ years current CT/X-Ray Tech experience License: Vermont Radiology License (or equivalent) Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Proficient and licensed in both CT and X-Ray - Ability to function independently and proficiently - IV Start experience - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active American Registration of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) (CT) Description: The schedule includes every other weekend. Mondays and Tuesdays have shifts from 0700-1730 for 10 hours each. Saturdays and Sundays have shifts from 0800-2030 for 12 hours each. The training schedule includes weekdays with 8-hour shifts. This position focuses on CT/X-Ray services. The traveler must be proficient and licensed in both specialties. The patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric. Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT) scans provide detailed cross-sectional images essential for various medical conditions. The facility utilizes a state-of-the-art 40 slice scanner for rapid and efficient imaging. Emphasis is placed on patient safety and dosage minimization in CT exams. Routine X-rays and fluoroscopic exams are provided for various studies. The technologist will deliver diagnostic radiographs and CT scans to outpatients, inpatients, and emergency room patients. Interactions with radiologists will be conducted by phone. The facility has a small, close-knit community with strong team dynamics. Outdoor adventures are available in nearby areas. Travelers must provide their permanent address for processing. Requests for time off must be specified during profile submission. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission for consideration. Call-offs will be monitored, and excessive call-offs may lead to contract termination.
