Job Title: Multi Modality Specialist Profession: Multi Modality Specialist Specialty: Multi Modality Specialist Duration: 13 months Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum three years of technical experience preferred License: Required radiologic tech license Certifications: Required CPR or BLS certification, ARRT certification, certification in one advanced modality Must-Have: Current certification in at least one advanced modality Description: Responsible for the operation of x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and/or mammography equipment. Assists in achieving departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that allows the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least three of the listed modalities on a regular basis. Education and work experience include an associate's degree in radiologic technology, with a bachelor's degree or master's degree preferred. Must possess a current certification in one of the modalities and be able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality. Essential functions include performing various radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography, and/or ultrasound examinations consistent with experience. Competently performs three modalities. Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs. Tests defibrillators and checks the integrity of crash carts. Performs mobile imaging examinations as necessary. Safely prepares contrast agents for medical imaging procedures. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Committed to the safety and wellbeing of associates and patients, requiring all associates to receive all required vaccinations. Medical and religious exemptions may apply. Participates in E-Verify.
