Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) to join a fast-paced, high-volume academic medical center. The department provides advanced cardiac diagnostics and maintains a strong focus on patient-centered, family-focused care and high-quality imaging services.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) experience

  • Heart Failure Evaluations
  • Advanced Cardiac Diagnostics
  • Chemotherapy Cardiac Evaluations
  • Renal Transplant Evaluations
Common Procedures
  • Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE)
  • Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
  • Stress Echocardiograms
  • Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms
  • Nuclear Cardiology Studies
  • Tilt Table Testing
Department Volume Average Daily Volumes Across All Locations
  • Comprehensive TTE Studies: Approximately 110 per day
  • Stress Echo/Dobutamine Stress Echo/Nuclear Cardiology/Tilt Table Tests: Approximately 14 per day
  • TEE Studies: Approximately 5–6 per day
Required Certifications Required
  • BLS
  • One of the following:
    • RDCS (ARDMS)
    • RCS
