Job Summary:-Performs cardiac ultrasound evaluations
-Communicates acute findings to Cardiologist and routes studies for interpretation
-Obtains pertinent patient health history prior to examination
-Prepares procedure room and equipment for daily use and is responsible for timely and efficient room preparation between procedures.
-Troubleshoots and identifies any equipment problems and reports to appropriate supervisor.
-May perform staff training and education.
Schedule Schedule: 5x8 - 7:30a-4:00p or 4x10 7:30a-6:00p
Skills: Required Skills & Experience:-Four (4) years of experience.
Preferred Skills & Experience:-N/A
Education: Required Education:-Accredited Associate s Degree in Sonography, Radiology or a related field.OR-Completion of a twelve (12) month ultrasound program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:-BLS--One of the following is required:-RDCS certified through ARDMS.-RCS, ACS and RCCS certified through CCI.
