Position / Specialty: ECHO TECH *PEDs experience required* PCH uses an extensive pediatric protocol with all anatomical views in Subxiphoid, Parasternal, Suprasternal, Right Parasternal, and Apical views. For someone to have good experience in pediatric echo, they must have at least one year of full-time pediatric work that is averaging 20 echoes a week, or 4-5 years of part-time averaging 4-5 echoes a week with full pediatric protocol. Roughly about a thousand echoes done as an experience in order to encounter a good number of congenital abnormalities.
