Job Title: Echo Technician Profession: Sonographer Specialty: Echo Technologist Duration: 14 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 5 years of cardiac ultrasound experience License: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Certifications: Current CPR-BLS certification required Must-Have: - Cardiac ultrasound experience - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - Current CPR-BLS certification Description: The Echo Technician will provide echo imaging services. Studies performed include 2-D and 3-D echo exams. Transesophageal echocardiography is also performed. The technician will conduct exercise and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms. Participation in procedures in the heart and vascular center is required. There are opportunities for ongoing training and participation in quality initiatives. Rotating holiday and weekend coverage is expected. Work days may start as early as 7 AM.
